Vet recommended

I have a retired racehorse that was thrown away at animal control. The vet recommended ASU Plus, Equioxx and Legend injections. Since she just started ASU we are still waiting to see how it goes. Hoping that this combination will give her some relief

Merchant Response:Lori, Mixing with yogurt is a good tip.
Pros
  • She liked the taste, stronger than the convenient pellets
Cons
  • I hate powder. She takes a breathe and blows in her bucket and it all flies out so I have to mix with yogurt and add to her senior food.

Arthritis Relief
February 19, 2016
We have been buying Cosequin for years for many of our horses. We switched to the ASU plus over a year ago and it is definitely worth the price difference. We see more freedom of movement and overall less pain from arthritis and joint issues.

I use it for my dogs and horses

While a tad expensive, this supplement has all the goodies in it. I'm using it for my horses and two big dogs, too, at 3/4 tsp per day which equals the amounts of ingredients they were getting from a canine pill supplement. They eat it just fine moistened on their kibble. I would say it works as well or better than the other stuff did and it ends up being less expensive than the pills.

This product really works!

My mare has arthritic hocks and when she moved under saddle, her gait at the corto was uneven with a lot of skipping. After a month on the cosequin, she moves much more smoothly with no skipping and seems to be very comfortable.
